* State College Boulevard at Park Lane: Police arrested a Brea man on an outstanding warrant at 6 p.m. Thursday.

BUENA PARK

* Oleander Circle: A caller in the 7800 block reported at 9:13 a.m. Wednesday that someone had cut the chains on a locked garage and stolen two bikes.

COSTA MESA

* Ohms Way: A compact disc player and a pair of speakers worth $3,000 were stolen from a car in the 1600 block during the evening of Feb. 15.

CYPRESS

* Gay Street: Report of a residential burglary in the 8400 block at 8:04 p.m. Feb. 15. Two bottles of perfume were missing.

DANA POINT

* Capistrano by the Sea Hospital: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Slater Avenue: A woman in the 10200 block put a man under citizen’s arrest for banging on her door for an hour and waking her at 4:52 a.m. Feb. 14.

FULLERTON

* East Imperial Highway: Report of a commercial burglary in the 200 block at 3:10 a.m. Feb. 15.

GARDEN GROVE

* Garden Grove Boulevard: Police said a man pistol-whipped a restaurant employee in the 9500 block at 10:15 p.m. Thursday and fled with $500 cash. The employee suffered minor injuries to her face. Witnesses described the thief as 5 feet 7, 140 pounds, 15 to 20 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 741-5826.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Five Harbors Drive: Burglars who had just broken into a resident’s car were spotted driving away in a white compact car in the 9000 block at 12:32 a.m. Tuesday.

* Beach Boulevard: A book bag with books, a wallet and a shirt were taken from an open car window in the 17000 block at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

IRVINE

* Raleigh: Report of a stolen 1992 Honda Accord at 7:09 p.m. Thursday.

* Jeffrey Road: Report of a broken window to a vehicle in the 15400 block at 8:48 a.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Noria Street: Two hundred compact discs, valued at $2,000, were reported stolen from a residence in the 900 block Wednesday. Entry to the residence was gained through a sliding glass door left open for a dog.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Laguna Hills Mall: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 24000 block at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

LA PALMA

* Centerpointe Drive: Police found the glass doors to a business open at 3:16 a.m. Tuesday. They were unable to determine if a crime had occurred and left a note for the company.

* Cerritos Avenue: A red GMC van was stolen from a business lot near Los Alamitos Boulevard at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Santa Margarita Parkway: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 27000 block at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Seville Drive: A cellular phone worth $300 was stolen from a car in the 2100 block between 12:30 and 2 p.m. Feb. 15.

* North Valencia Avenue: Report of grand theft in the 1600 block at 3:47 p.m. Thursday; compact discs worth $1,300 were reported stolen from a vehicle at El Dorado High School.

* Jefferson Street: Report of a residential burglary in the 300 block at 7:26 p.m. Thursday. A cell phone, pager and gun were stolen, with no sign of forced entry.

* Camino De Estrella: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 500 block at 11:42 a.m. Tuesday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Via Mistral: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 26000 block at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday.

SANTA ANA

* South Bristol Street: Police say Rene Ramundo Vasquez, 31, of Santa Ana died Wednesday when he was struck by a car in the 400 block at 6:30 p.m. Police say Vasquez tried to cross the street outside a crosswalk. Police are looking for the driver of a maroon Toyota Corolla that might have hit the man and fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 245-8217.

SEAL BEACH

* Marlin Avenue: A man reported the theft of a car and mountain bike from his garage at 3:23 a.m. Feb. 14. When police investigated, they found the man was “extremely drunk” and unable to provide any paperwork. They also found no sign of forced entry to the locked garage. The man decided not to file a report. He said he would wait until later to speak with his father, the vehicle’s owner.

* Seal Beach Boulevard: Report of a robbery at Fidelity Federal Bank in the 13800 block at 9:24 a.m. Friday. The thief appeared to have a weapon and fled with an unspecified amount of cash. Witnesses described the robber as 5 feet 9, 140 pounds, wearing a blue baseball cap, gray or blue plaid shirt, jeans and dirty shoes or boots. * Monroe Avenue: Report of a burglary with a silent alarm in the 800 block at 6:21 p.m. Feb. 15.

* 17th Street: A customer who had an expired driver’s license was denied alcohol at a restaurant in the 17400 block at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday. She then refused to leave.

* Lichen Lane: A cell phone was reported stolen from a vehicle in a carport area in the 2200 block at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday.

VILLA PARK

* Laurel Drive at Collins Avenue: Report of a reckless driver at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 14.

WESTMINSTER

* Las Solanas Street: Some emblems were reported stolen from a Honda and a Lexus in the 15700 block at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

* Liverpool Street: Report of petty theft in the 4800 block at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday.
