A Guide to Happy Hours
Whoever said you can’t get something for nothing clearly never heard of happy hour.
Often held between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m., the happy hour is used by pubs and bars to attract customers with free food and cheap drinks during what are normally low-volume hours.
Calendar Live! picked a designated driver and decided to sneak out of work early to search for the finer happy hours in the Southland, highlighting bars from Santa Monica to Glendale that run nightly drink specials and serve up some good gratis grub in the process.
