Center Dan Gadzuric, plagued by sore knees all season, underwent an MRI Wednesday night after hurting his left knee in practice. The results, and his availability for the Washington State game, will not be known until today.

A UCLA official said the joint “locked up” on Gadzuric during the afternoon workout.

UCLA heads into the final stretch of the regular season--one home stand and one trip left--facing the possibility of finishing anywhere from second to fourth in the Pacific 10 Conference.

The Bruins are in third place, three games behind Stanford and two behind Arizona. But their chances of catching the Wildcats for second are aided because Arizona must play the Bruins and Stanford.
