* West Lincoln Avenue: Report of a robbery involving a gun at a business in the 2600 block at 3:01 p.m. Sunday.

* West Lullaby Lane: Report of a forced residential burglary in the 1800 block at 9:11 a.m. Monday.

* East Elm Street at South Brea Boulevard: Report of vandalism at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday.

BUENA PARK

* Dale Street: A caller in the 5900 block reported at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday that someone had stolen a cellular phone.

COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: About $1,400 was stolen from a business in the 3300 block at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 19.

CYPRESS

* Casa Grande Circle: Report of an auto burglary in the 4400 block at 7:04 p.m. Saturday. Someone smashed the rear passenger window and damaged the steering wheel.

* Nashawena Court: Report of a residential burglary in the 11300 block at 7:45 p.m. Saturday. Someone entered the side garage door and stole a boom box, fax machine, copier and paper shredder.

DANA POINT

* Polaris Drive: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 24000 block at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street and Slater Avenue: Someone drove alongside a car and threw a bottle at it at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

* Warner Avenue: Someone broke a car window but did not take anything in the 11600 block sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor Boulevard at Quatro Street: Police arrested three people on suspicion of driving under the influence and narcotics violations at a traffic checkpoint Wednesday. Forty-four vehicles were impounded because their drivers did not have licenses or were driving with suspended or revoked licenses, and 34 citations were issued for various seat belt and child safety seat violations.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Adams Avenue: Someone saw a motorist with a passenger in the back seat who was bleeding from his head in the 10100 block at 2:07 a.m. Saturday..

* Aldrich Street: A woman said a man came to her door in the 7900 block saying his car had broken down on the freeway and he needed a blanket at 4:06 p.m. Saturday..

* Bolsa Chica Road: A person said a bartender slapped her in the face for no reason in the 6500 block at 2:33 p.m. Saturday.

* Edinger Avenue: A transient tried to grab customers at a supermarket in the 7200 block at 7:24 p.m. Saturday.

IRVINE

* Austin: The left door lock was punched through on a 1991 Honda Accord and all four tires, rims, the stereo, amplifiers and speakers were stolen; reported at 9:09 a.m. Monday.

* Warner Avenue: A 1987 Honda scooter was reported stolen in the 2800 block at 11:37 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* South Coast Highway: Police detained a man at 2 p.m. Tuesday for allegedly leaving the Surf & Sand Motel without paying his bill.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Alicia Parkway: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Moulton Parkway: A resident in the 28000 block was cited by sheriff’s deputies about 8 p.m. Tuesday for refusing to turn down his stereo after neighbors complained.

* South Dexter Street: Report of a residential burglary in the 500 block at 4:12 p.m. Feb. 19.

* Whittier Boulevard at Hillside Court: A drunk-in-public arrest was made at 10:08 a.m. Saturday.

* Los Alisos Boulevard: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 23000 block at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday.

LA PALMA

* La Palma Avenue: A 25-year-old Buena Park man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 2:01 a.m. Saturday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Denwood Avenue: A resident reported that a Honda Civic was broken into and a $700 stereo stolen near Maple Street at 5:52 p.m. Feb. 19.

MISSION VIEJO

* Veterans Way: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 9:53 a.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* 24th Street: A potted plant worth $120 was stolen from a home in the 100 block between 11 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

* Bristol Street: About $200 cash and more than $80 in stamps were stolen from a home in the 1300 block between Feb. 12 and Sunday.

* Bayview Circle: A tote bag and its contents worth $150 were stolen from a car in the 500 block between 8:20 and 9:45 p.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* East Riverdale Avenue: Police responded to a report of an assault with a dangerous weapon in the 300 block at 4:35 p.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* Purdy Avenue: Report of a residential burglary in the 400 block at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday; signs of a forced entry through the kitchen door; the house was ransacked and jewelry stolen; $33,000 loss.

* Camarillo Street: Report of petty theft in the 300 block at 5:56 p.m.; former apartment tenants allegedly stole carpeting.
