First American Buys Stake in Allied Trustee Services

First American Financial Corp. said Monday it has acquired an interest in Allied Trustee Services Inc., a Sacramento-based provider of delinquent assessment collection services for homeowners associations and other developments in California and Nevada. Terms of the transaction, which was completed Dec. 15, were not disclosed.

Allied will operate as a division of one of First American Financial’s units. Santa Ana-based First American Financial provides real estate, financial and information services.
