Jolly Holly

I found Dec. 16’s Food section very interesting with the recipe for Cornflake Holly. I submitted that same recipe on Oct. 17, 1997 [for Food’s cookie recipe search], although we call them Christmas Wreaths. Glad to see it is someone else’s favorite and I’m sure it will become the favorite of many more households for the holidays. I started making them when we discovered that my mother cannot have anything with gluten, but of course she can have cornflakes. Also, the cornflakes shine through the marshmallows to make them look a little golden. Perhaps I should have submitted the recipe to you again this year. If at first you don’t succeed and all that. Anyway, glad to see it finally made it through the Test Kitchen.
