Odwalla Inc., the Half Moon Bay-based juice company, reported a net loss of $175,000, or 3 cents per share, for the fiscal first-quarter ended Nov. 28, compared with a net loss of $479,000, or 9 cents, a year ago. The company also reported that private investor Catterton-Simon Partners III agreed to make an $8-million investment in the company.
