Printronix Net Off 33% Despite Record Sales

Printronix Inc., an Irvine manufacturer of computer printers, reported that net income fell 33% in the fiscal third quarter despite record sales. The company said it earned $3 million, or 44 cents a share, for the three months ended Dec. 25, down from the $4.5 million, or 54 cents a share, a year ago. Sales rose 8% to $45.8 million from $42.5 million. . . . I/OMagic Corp., an Irvine developer of peripheral personal computer products, said it earned $5,299 for the fiscal third quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with a loss of $233,136, or 2 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue increased to $2.4 million from $887,691.
