Technology Transfers

The technology Hughes and Loral might have transferred to China (Dec. 31) won’t hold a candle to the amount of technology we’re going to have to share once we find out what position we’re in due to Y2K. When we determine what status the Department of Defense is in, we’ll have a better understanding of what technology will have to be shared with anyone in possession of any of our systems, including those countries that have acquired our weaponry through illegal means.
