LAKE FOREST
The City Council recently approved a second reading of an ordinance to create an underground utility district on Rockfield Boulevard. The district will allow for the removal of power line poles from Cavanaugh Road to Landisview Avenue. Construction will begin in June 2000 and will cost about $1.16 million. By then, Southern California Edison will have dedicated $1.18 million to bury power lines in the city, as required by law.
