O.C. EARNINGS

Cerplex Group Inc.: The Tustin provider of high-technology hardware services said it lost $29.1 million, or $8.26 a share, for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, compared with a net loss of $49.6 million for the previous year. The 1997 loss reflects $33 million of write-offs of goodwill and information system development costs. Revenue was up 2% to $66.4 million from $64.9 million.
