U.S. Park Campsites Can Be Booked Online

Share

Campsites at 26 national parks, including Death Valley and the Grand Canyon, can now be reserved online at https://reservations .nps.gov. Requests will be processed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific time, the same hours they are taken by telephone at (800) 365-2267. You can now reserve up to five months ahead; the previous limit was three months.

Yosemite camping reservations are still handled through (800) 436-7275. But as of last week, those campsites, too, were to be bookable on the Internet, at the same address. And on Jan. 25, online reservations will begin for tours at Mammoth Cave and Carlsbad Caverns, as well as Frederick Douglass National Historic Site.
