Education

The last few years I have read everything I could find on the subject of education. My reading has led me to the conclusion that critics of American public education do not understand that, essentially, 50% must score below average. There is no way that we could raise achievement in schools so that all students score above average. We should do away with percentile scoring and write tests that are written against a standard. This would provide a superior understanding of what a student knows and/or does not know.
