Changes Afoot at Ingram Micro

Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro Inc. announced three executive management changes and promotions Monday, spurred by the retirement of one of the company’s presidents.

Sanat Dutta, 49, executive vice president and president for North America, will retire July 4. He will remain an advisor to the company’s newly formed Office of the Chairman.

Philip Ellett, 44, Ingram’s executive vice president and president for Europe, will replace Dutta. Robert D. Grambo, 34, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Ingram Micro Europe, will replace Ellett. Robert Furtado, 42, senior vice president of global operations and logistics, will become senior vice president, operations for Ingram Micro Europe.

Ingram Micro is the world’s largest wholesale distributor of technology products.
