Koll Development Names Executive

* Clark R. Wardle has been appointed vice president of Koll Development Co.’s Western division. Based in Newport Beach, Wardle will oversee the development of office, industrial and retail projects in the Western U.S. He was previously vice president of development at R.D. Hubbard Enterprises Inc. in Palm Desert; before that he was principal and vice president of Birtcher Real Estate Inc.

* Jeff Bailey has been named president of Commonwealth Energy Products Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Energy Corp. in Tustin. Bailey was formerly operations manager. In his new position, Bailey will develop the company’s outside commercial sales staff and oversee areas such as energy commodity sales, demand-side management, performance contracting, advanced metering systems, energy efficiency product lines and information management.

* Louis M. Crain has been appointed chief executive of Collectors Universe Inc. in Newport Beach, a company providing authentication, support, sales, auctions and Internet content on collectibles. He was previously chief executive of Marc Analysis Research Corp. in Palo Alto.

* Yves Dispas has been appointed European controller for Laguna Niguel-based Furon Co. Dispas joined the company in 1993 as controller for the Belgian and British facilities and was most recently European industrial controller. He will continue to work from Belgium.

* Darius C. Power is the new chief executive of Emsource LLC in Anaheim. Previously he was senior vice president for Summagraphics Corp. and managing director of manufacturing operations for AST Research Inc. Emsource is the result of the merger of SMT Dynamics and Blackfox Technology Group.

* David M. Tourangeau and Richard J. Towle have joined the board of directors of Core Inc., an Irvine-based provider of employee-absence management services. Tourangeau recently retired from Unum Corp., where he served as an executive for more than 28 years, most recently as senior vice president for Pacific Rim operations and Latin American development. Towle is vice president of administrative services of Boston University and serves as chief business officer for the Boston University Medical Center.

* Victor C. Robles has joined the Newport Beach office of Kaufman Meeks and Partners as project architect. Robles was most recently quality-control manager at Excell Architects. In addition, Laura Lee Fulmer was named marketing coordinator. She was previously with the Keith Cos., a civil engineering firm in Costa Mesa.

* Jim Maia has been named vice president of North American sales for Interplay Entertainment Corp. in Irvine. He joined Interplay as Canadian sales manager in 1995 and was promoted to senior director for North America sales in 1997. Kim Motika has been appointed to the new position of vice president of strategic development. Motika joined Interplay as national sales manager in 1991 and was named vice president of sales in 1994.

* P. Anthony Burnham has joined Abbott Resource Group Inc. in Irvine as executive vice president and employment counsel. Burnham was formerly counsel to the Newport Beach office of Fisher & Phillips LLP, before which he spent 22 years with the Carnation/Nestle Co. as employment and labor counsel and corporate vice president of human resources management.

* Sonya Borba has been appointed manager, monitor marketing, for Hansol Multitech Inc. in La Palma. Before joining Hansol, Borba spent three years at Ingram Micro in product marketing.

* Donald C. Lahn has been named to the newly created position of vice chairman of Prudential Overall Supply in Irvine. He had been president since 1989. Succeeding Lahn as president is Thomas C. Watts, who had been vice president of operations.
