CalComp to Divest Display Products

Share

Computer graphics products maker CalComp Technology Inc. said Friday it will sell its Display Products NV division to Westcomp Inc. of Salt Lake City. Terms were not disclosed.

Anaheim-based CalComp has been shedding its marketable assets as it prepares to shut down. The company said earlier this week that it will sell a 150-employee manufacturing division in Arizona to a Maryland company.

The sale of the Display Products unit, based in Gistel, Belgium, is expected to be completed in February.

CalComp officials announced last week that they had decided to liquidate the company, which has struggled unsuccessfully to become profitable after being spun off by Lockheed Corp. several years ago.
