Brea metal distributor Earle M. Jorgensen Co. reported net income of $1.4 million for the fiscal 1999 third quarter, down from the $4.3 million recorded a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 declined 18% to $211.2 million from $256 million the previous year.
The prior-year period included revenue of $6.3 million from the company’s United Kingdom and Mexican subsidiaries, which were sold in fiscal 1998.
