Rappers the Goodie Mob are filming a spot in the movie “Mystery Men,” in which the group, billed as the Not-So-Goodie Mob, does battle with the the movie’s titular superheroes. The Mob is recording a music track for the scene and the soundtrack album as well. Other music figures in the film include Pras and Tom Waits. . . .

Performances by Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Jimmy Page & Robert Plant and Tracy Chapman will be among those featured in a three-hour pay-per-view TV special edited from December’s Amnesty International concert in Paris. It will premiere April 3. A six-hour radio series of highlights from the concert will also be aired nationally in March. . . .

Chrissie Hynde recorded a one-line phrase for Jeff Beck to use as a sample on the song “Space for the Papa,” a track from the guitarist’s first non-soundtrack, non-covers album in 10 years. Titled “Who Else!” it’s due March 16. . . .

Stevie Ray Vaughan’s first four albums are being reissued in expanded versions with bonus live tracks and outtakes. Among the previously unreleased pieces on the “Soul to Soul” disc is a medley of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” and “Third Stone From the Sun.” The sets are due March 23. . . . June Carter Cash has gathered members of her extended clan, including husband Johnny Cash, for her first-ever solo album, an intimate set of mountain songs and gospel in the tradition of her Carter Family heritage. Among those on board are Marty Stuart (a longtime Cash associate), John Carter Cash (June and Johnny’s son) and former son-in-law Rodney Crowell (he was married to Rosanne Cash). It’s due April 20.*
