The City Council recently approved spending more than $24,000 to purchase three motorcycles for the Police Department. The motorcycles, to be purchased from Kawasaki of Pomona Valley in Ontario for $24,417, will replace three 6-year-old ones; they, in turn, will be sold at public auction. Money for the new bikes comes from the city’s equipment replacement fund.
