The City Council will vote today on approving a four-year contract to continue providing police services to Yorba Linda. The existing three-year agreement expired June 30.
The Yorba Linda City Council voted June 15 to approve the new contract, which would end June 30, 2003. The new contract has no major changes, according to officials from both cities.
Yorba Linda, which has been served by Brea police since 1970, will pay $5,876,505 a year for the law enforcement services.
