Share

The Los Angeles Times’ Orange County business coverage expands today with new regular features providing comprehensive reports on the county’s business community and economy.

“O.C. Business Plus” will appear Tuesday through Friday on pages C3 and C4 of the Business section.

Each day, the pages will feature a comprehensive chart that tracks the performance of the more than 120 Orange County-based companies that trade on the three major stock exchanges.

Other new features include Orange County commercial real estate leases and sales each Tuesday; Orange County business bankruptcies each Wednesday; and Orange County building permits of more than $350,000 each Thursday.

In addition, the Orange County Newsmakers column, which tracks people and their careers, will appear Tuesday through Friday, as well as Sunday. Readers will continue to receive all of the regular Business section features.

The expansion coincides with an influx of new Orange County Business section reporters. Joining The Times are Robin Fields, who focuses on consumer affairs; Edmund Sanders, who covers fraud and financial services; Greg Hernandez, who follows the restaurant industry; and Marc Ballon, who covers small business.
