Krause’s Revs Up Expansion Engine

Brea-based Krause’s Furniture Inc. also is in a growth phase, opening a new showroom last week in the Best Plaza Shopping Center in Cerritos.
It’s the fifth Krause’s to open since Feb. 1. “This is part of our ongoing expansion program--where we’re on track to open 20 to 25 stores per year for the foreseeable future,” Chief Financial Officer Robert A. Burton said.
The company launched its expansion program in 1997.
“We were a little bit slow starting,” Burton said, “but now we’re cranking.”
