Arnel Names Executive VP

* Rudy J. Baldoni has been appointed executive vice president of Arnel Development Co. in Costa Mesa. In his new position, he will be the director of real estate acquisitions and development and will be responsible for all real estate financing for the company. Baldoni has been with Arnel for seven years, most recently as vice president and treasurer.

* Denise Gorman has joined Edison Capital in Irvine, the investment and financial service subsidiary of Edison International, as controller. Before joining Edison Capital, Gorman was director of financial reporting for Fluor Corp. She also has worked at Walt Disney Co., Allergan Inc. and Ford Aerospace Corp.

* Alfred H. Bedard III has been appointed vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Ultera Systems in Laguna Hills. Bedard had been general manager and division director for Sony Electronics Integrated Storage Products division in San Jose and spent 19 years at Data General Corp. in Westborough, Mass., most recently as director of marketing for storage and I/O systems.

* Michael J. Sunderland has been named vice president of finance and chief financial officer for the TriZetto Group in Newport Beach. Sunderland was previously vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Health Net. In addition, William E. Fisher has joined the board of directors. He is chairman, president and chief executive for Transaction Systems Architects Inc.
