Conexant Systems to Join Nasdaq-100

Conexant Systems Inc., the Newport Beach semiconductor company that was spun off from Rockwell International Corp. this year, will replace Chancellor Media Corp. on the Nasdaq-100 Index, effective Wednesday.

Conexant shares closed Friday at $61.50, up $1.63. The stock has more than tripled in value so far this year.
