Holdsclaw Leads Mystics

Chamique Holdsclaw had 20 points, including two free throws in the closing minutes of the second overtime, and 16 rebounds to lead the Washington Mystics to a 83-78 victory over the Detroit Shock on Saturday before 8,358 at Auburn Hills, Mich.

Murriel Page added 19 points and 10 rebounds for Washington, and Nikki McCray scored 18.

Detroit has lost four in a row.

Orlando 62, Utah 56--Nykesha Sales scored 21 points to lead the Miracle over the visiting Starzz before 11,186.

Natalie Williams, Utah’s lone All-Star representative, scored 21 of her 23 points in the second half and had 12 rebounds.

Cleveland 82, Charlotte 56--The Rockers, coming off a 35-point loss to New York, turned it around before 9,098 at home as Alisa Burras scored 10 of their first 12 points and finished with 20.
