Memorial Service Planned for Casting Director Soble

A memorial service will be held for Stanley Soble, the longtime casting director for Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum and Ahmanson Theatre, on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Taper.

Soble, who cast hundreds of shows, including the Taper premieres of the Pulitzer Prize-winning plays “Angels in America” and “The Kentucky Cycle,” died July 6 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of complications following surgery.
