After finishing second several times, Arleta’s Brian Kelley won his first NASCAR Super Late Model race at Irwindale Speedway.
Kelley passed A.J. Dimarzo of Saugus for the lead on lap 19 of the 50-lap race. Bob Reed of Riverside passed Kevin Bernhardt of Fontana on lap 18 and won the 25-lap NASCAR Mini Stock race. Mike Pope of Orange led all 12 laps to win the NASCAR Street Stock race.
