ANAHEIM

* Hampstead Street and Cerritos Avenue: Two men were expected to recover after being shot and injured as they stood on a street corner in the Jeffrey-Lynne neighborhood early Saturday. The victims were able to identify the gunman, who was later arrested.

BREA

* Candlewood Street: A petty theft was reported in the 800 block at 3:02 p.m. Saturday.

* Brea Mall: A grand theft was reported at 6:08 p.m. Saturday.

* Central Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 8:22 p.m. Saturday.

BUENA PARK

* Valley View Avenue: A window was smashed in a Toyota Tercel parked in the 7800 block and a duffel bag, small television and personal items were stolen at 5:53 a.m. Friday.

* Fourth Street at Darlington Avenue: A city worker trimming trees reported being accosted by a nearby homeowner at 12:43 p.m. Friday.

COSTA MESA

* Victoria Street: An officer shot a pit bull after it charged him at Talbert Park in the 1200 block at 9:35 a.m. Sunday. The officer was uninjured and the dog was reported in stable condition.

DANA POINT

* Golden Lantern: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 32000 block at 2:22 p.m. Sunday.

* Doheny Park Road: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 34000 block at 5:21 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Dolphin Drive: Someone attacked a student and kicked him in the head as he walked to Newland Elementary School in the 8700 block at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.

FULLERTON

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A man accused of embezzling $300 from a check cashing company in the 2600 block was arrested Monday morning after spending the weekend in Mexico. The suspect, who was arrested about noon, admitted taking the money but said he intended to return it.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Van Buren Street: A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon at 4 p.m. Saturday after barricading himself in his home in the 17600 block.

IRVINE

* Alton Parkway and Pacifica: Graffiti was reported in several locations near the Laguna Freeway at 3:05 a.m. Sunday.

* Fortune Drive: Sterling silver bracelets and men’s and women’s rings worth $340 were reported stolen in the first block at 3:49 p.m. Friday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Main Beach: A Laguna Beach resident was arrested on suspicion of battery and possession of marijuana in the 100 block at 6:18 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* El Toro Road and Interstate 5: Deputies arrested a 41-year-old man wanted on $26,000 worth of warrants at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Marijuana and other narcotics were also found in his vehicle.

* Landover Road: A loud party was reported in the 24000 block at 1:41 a.m. Sunday.

* Los Alisos Boulevard: A loud party was reported in the 24000 block at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

* Stockport: Deputies arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 25000 block at 3 a.m. Saturday after she crashed into four parked vehicles.

* Sunset Place West: A prowler was spotted in the 25000 block at 2:49 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Crown Valley Parkway: A report of a possible theft of a telephone by an employee of a business in the 30000 block was taken at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday.

* Felton Drive: Deputies responded to a report of a prowler in the 29000 block at 1:35 a.m. Saturday.

* La Paz Road: Nine fraudulent checks totaling $4,000 were cashed at a business in the 27200 block. The report was taken at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.

LAKE FOREST

* Rockfield Boulevard and Landisview Avenue: A reckless driver was reported in the 100 block at 6:49 p.m. Friday.

* Vintage Woods Road: A robbery was reported in the 26000 block at 8:36 p.m. Friday.

LA PALMA

* Centerpointe Drive: A sports trophy was stolen from a restaurant near Centerpointe Drive and Orangethorpe Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Walnut Street: A man said a bedroom door in his home in the 5100 block was kicked in, causing approximately $250 in damage. He said that he discovered the damage at 3:48 p.m. Sunday after returning from a weekend trip.

* Farquhar Avenue: A reckless driver was reported traveling west on the wrong side of the road at 10:29 p.m. Sunday. Police were unable to locate the driver.

MISSION VIEJO

* El Toboso: A missing child was reported in the 26000 block at 4:37 p.m. Friday.

* Medical Center Road: A robbery was reported in the 27000 block at 10:06 p.m. Friday.

* Teresa: A robbery was reported in the 22000 block at 1:36 p.m. Friday.

* Via Linda and Alicia Parkway: A reckless driver was reported at 11:51 p.m. Friday.

ORANGE

* West Culver Avenue: A 1998 gray Plymouth Neon was stolen from an apartment complex in the 1500 block at 12:09 p.m. Saturday.

* West Freedom Avenue: Report of a theft of more than $400 from a manufacturing company in the 400 block at 3:35 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Alta Vista Street and Edwards Way: A reckless driver was reported at 10:34 p.m. Saturday.

* Prospect Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 1400 block at 12:52 p.m. Saturday.

* Roanoke Street and Hudson Avenue: An abandoned vehicle was reported at 12:25 p.m. Saturday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida la Cuesta: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 200 block at 11:55 p.m. Sunday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Riviera Court: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 29000 block at 7:47 a.m. Sunday.

* Via del Rey: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 25000 block at 12:38 p.m. Sunday.

SEAL BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: A 20-foot trailer detached from a motor home at 11:46 a.m. Sunday, knocked over a state highway sign and needed to be towed out of a ditch.

* Ocean Avenue at 5th Street: Two men in their 20s chipping golf balls at the beach Sunday hit a person with a ball.

TUSTIN

* Mitchell Avenue: A woman called to report a male in his 20s watched her undress in her home in the 1100 block at 12:42 a.m. Saturday. Police were unable to locate the peeper.

* Poppy Drive: A 1987 Pontiac Trans Am parked in the 14000 block was reported stolen Saturday.

VILLA PARK

* Walker Ranch Circle: A silent burglar alarm was set off in the 9000 block at 11:52 a.m. Sunday.

* Alma Lane: A disturbance at a party was reported in the 10000 block at 10:14 p.m. Sunday.

* Arden Villa Drive: An audible burglar alarm was set off in the 10000 block at 3:36 p.m. Saturday.

WESTMINSTER

* 17th Street: A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics in the 7700 block at 12:22 p.m. Sunday.

* Garden Grove Boulevard: A 40-year-old man was arrested on an undisclosed warrant at the Ice Palace parking lot after 3 a.m. Saturday.

* Moran Street: A man turned in a gun, found in a trash can, at the fire station at 7:21 a.m. Saturday.

* Beach Boulevard: A 54-year-old man was arrested in the 13300 block on an outstanding warrant at 2 p.m. Saturday.

* Bolsa Avenue: A 24-year-old man was arrested near Bolsa Avenue and Moran Street around 9:44 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of arson.

YORBA LINDA

* Savi Ranch Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 22000 block at 6:14 p.m. Sunday and a grand theft was reported in the 22000 block at 2:38 p.m. Friday.

* Grandview Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 5500 block at 5:38 p.m. Friday.

* La Palma Avenue and Via Lomas De Yorba: Battery was reported at 9:42 p.m. Friday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Cypress, Garden Grove, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Stanton.
