UC’s Freshmen

This profile of freshmen admitted to the University of California in fall 1998 offers a glimpse of how selective the various UC campuses are. The charts give the percentage of freshmen accepted according to their grade-point averages and Scholastic Aptitude Test I. For example, UC Berkeley, the most selective of the UC campuses, accepted only about half of the applicants with a grade-point average of 3.9-3.99 and SAT scores of 1400 or higher.
