Four seats are up for grabs on the United Laguna Hills Mutual Board. United is the largest of Leisure World’s two main homeowners groups and represents the community’s co-ops. People seeking nominations to the 11-member board must be interviewed by United’s Nominating Committee before July 28. The committee is responsible for putting qualified candidates on the ballot for the election in late September. Candidates can bypass the nomination process by collecting more than 100 signatures before Aug. 13. Those wishing to be interviewed for a spot should call Christa Raine at (949) 830-0120.
