Ex-Psychiatrist Pleads Guilty in Copulation Case

A former Newport Beach psychiatrist pleaded guilty Friday to five counts of oral copulation with a 15-year-old boy who was being treated while living at a home for troubled youth.
Burnell Forgey, 82, who surrendered his license after he was charged in the case, entered his guilty plea before Superior Court Judge Frank Fasel.
One count of forcible oral copulation was dropped, said Tori Richards of the Orange County district attorney’s office.
