The Planning Commission last week voted 4 to 3 to approve a Jiffy Lube on West Coast Highway, but attached several conditions that are to be addressed at a meeting next month. Representatives for the automobile maintenance shop, slated for 1520 W. Coast Highway in Mariners Mile, had requested permission to build a facility with three tandem service bays capable of accommodating up to six cars at once. Among the conditions is that the landscaping and irrigation plan for the site be submitted to the Building Department along with construction plans, and that approval be given by the Public Works and Planning departments.
