THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times Orange County publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

ANAHEIM

* Gurza Avenue: Report of a robbery in the 10000 block at 9:32 a.m. Sunday.

BREA

* Valencia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday.

* Laurel Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday.

BUENA PARK

* Thelma Avenue: A vehicle owner reported his window broken in the 6700 block at 9:21 a.m. Sunday.

* Cerritos Avenue: Police advised a live band to quiet down in the 6000 block at 10:13 a.m. Sunday.

DANA POINT

* Pacific Coast Highway: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 1:47 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: Someone obtained a man’s ATM card number and charged the delivery of food from Italian Express restaurant in the 18200 block at 10:29 a.m. Thursday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Center Avenue: A bouncer at the Rhino Room struck someone with a flashlight in the 7900 block at 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Fortune Drive: A silver 1997 Toyota Tercel was stolen in the first block at 7:06 p.m. Saturday.

* Greenbough: The windshield of a vehicle was smashed by two bricks in the ffirst block at 9:49 a.m. Sunday. Both bricks were left on the hood.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Laguna Canyon Road: A Nissan 300ZX parked in the 900 block was reported stolen at 5:21 p.m. Sunday.

* Tyrol Drive: Two custom-made signs were reported stolen in the 3100 block at 6:18 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* North Harbor Boulevard: Report of a residential burglary in the 600 block at 1:46 p.m. Sunday.

* North Hazel Street: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 400 block at 7:54 a.m. Sunday.

* West Whittier Boulevard: A forgery arrest was made in the 1300 block at 3:34 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Aliso Creek Road: A reckless driver was reported at 2:47 p.m. Sunday.

* Breckenridge Drive: A loud party in the 28000 block was reported at 12:41 a.m. Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Dune Mear Road and Eaglemont Avenue: At 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, deputies observed a boy in possession of alcohol and tobacco. The boy was cited and released to his parents.

* Lake Forest Drive: At 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, a stereo was reported stolen from a parked vehicle.

LA PALMA

* Hummingbird Crescent: Report of eggs being thrown at a car and a house in the 8000 block at 7:39 a.m. Saturday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Reagan Street and Katella Avenue: Police were unable to determine the origin of two gunshots that were reported at 12:27 a.m. Friday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Marguerite Parkway: A reckless driver was reported in the 24000 block at 5:04 p.m. Friday.

ORANGE

* Chapman Avenue at Hewes Street: An abandoned vehicle was reported at 8:59 a.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* Nancita Street: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 1900 block at 10:24 a.m. Wednesday.

* Center Street and Melrose Avenue: A battery was reported at 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida del Mar: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 12:50 p.m. Sunday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Connemara Drive: A robbery alarm in the 33000 block was triggered at 11:34 p.m. Sunday.

SEAL BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: Report of a drunk driver near Anderson Street at 4:18 p.m. Saturday.

STANTON

* Fern Street: A burglary with an audible alarm was reported in the 12000 block at 12:19 a.m. Sunday.

* Winston Road: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 8000 block at 8:23 a.m. Sunday.

TUSTIN

* Newport Avenue: Police advised apartment residents to turn down the volume on their loud stereo in the 14300 block at 1:20 a.m. Saturday.

VILLA PARK

* James Road: Report of shots heard in the 18000 block at 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

WESTMINSTER

* University Street at Westminster Avenue: A man was arrested on suspicion of assault at 12:05 a.m. Saturday.

* Wyoming Street at Cedar Street: A teenager was arrested on suspicion of probation violation at 8:40 p.m. Friday.

YORBA LINDA

* Chicago Avenue and Third Street: A petty theft was reported at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday.

* Jennifer Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 17000 block at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday.

* Sycamore Circle: A petty theft was reported in the 18000 block at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Newport Beach and Santa Ana.
