STANTON
The City Council voted Tuesday to continue its discussion on whether to participate in Phase II of the Fire Services Feasibility Study, which seeks to develop cost-effective alternatives for emergency services in the city.
With Councilmen David Shawver and Bill Estrada absent from the meeting, members said they will revisit the issue at the Aug. 10 meeting. At issue is whether Stanton should spend $5,287 from the General Fund for Phase II study sessions and consultation.
