LOS ALAMITOS
The Board of Education named Dennis Sackett the new principal at McAuliffe Middle School on Monday. Sackett, one of eight candidates who were considered, will take over for Karen Lovelace, who will become the Los Alamitos Unified School District’s new assistant superintendent of instruction services. Sackett has served as assistant principal at the middle school since 1985.
