The City Council tonight will consider an appeal of the Planning Commission’s approval of a computer-testing laboratory, to be built on Olinda Place. At the request of Ronald Isles, who lives near the proposed project site, the council members will listen to residents’ comments and then vote on the issue. Isles said in a letter to city officials that he opposes the project because it is not appropriate for a neighborhood commercial district. Staff has recommended the City Council deny the appeal. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 1 Civic Center Circle.
