The City Council recently approved a family-style millennium celebration developed by the San Clemente Ocean Festival Committee. The celebration will begin Dec. 31 with a block party on the 600 block of Avenida Victoria and will end with a 30-minute fireworks display at dusk. Information: (949) 361-8200.
