Cooper’s Income Falls

The Cooper Companies Inc., Irvine maker of medical products and contact lenses, said net income for the second fiscal quarter ended April 30 declined 16% to $7.1 million, or 51 cents a share, from $8.5 million, or 55 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 11% to $41.7 million from $37.5 million.
