TUSTIN
Southern California Edison recently gave Hewes Middle School a $2,500 grant as part of its New Era Awards for Excellence program, which funds innovative programs that directly benefit at-risk students. Hewes will use the money for its “Fascinating Frog Forensics” program, which aims to increase students’ interest in forensic science.
