Share

Those dealing with loss can seek comfort and hope through bereavement classes and support groups offered by two Orange County religious organizations.

Irvine Presbyterian Church is offering a bereavement class called “Overcoming Your Loss” for those who have lost loved ones, careers or financial security. Connie Regener, a certified bereavement facilitator and seminary graduate, will lead the sessions, which aim to find healing through God’s word and the care, support and prayers of a Christian community.

The seven-week class will be held at 7 p.m. Mondays, beginning June 14, at the church, 4445 Alton Parkway, adjacent to Woodbridge High School. Cost is $35 and scholarships are available. For information or to register, call the church office at (949) 786-9627.

The following times and locations are available: 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Beth Jacob in Irvine, 10 a.m. Tuesdays at Temple Judea in Laguna Hills and 1 p.m. Thursdays at Ezra Center in Anaheim. The groups are free, but preregistration is required. Information: (714) 445-4950.
