Telenetics OKs Purchase of Sunnyvale

Telenetics Corp. said it agreed to acquire Sunnyvale General Devices and Instruments Inc., a Reno, Nev., supplier of communications and network products for the traffic-management industry. Terms were not disclosed.

Telenetics, a Lake Forest maker of data-communications products, said it expects the transaction will be completed by the end of the month. Sunnyvale General Devices would be absorbed into Telenetics’ Traffic Automation Division.
