American Heroes Air Show to Show Simulated Rescues

Search-and-rescue experts from a various agencies throughout the state will participate in the American Heroes Air Show on Saturday at the Hansen Dam Recreation Area.
Officials from city and county fire departments, the U.S. Border Patrol and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, among others, will simulate rescues.
More than 25 helicopters and specialized vehicles and equipment will be used in the demonstrations.
The show, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will also feature a career fair with recruiters from law enforcement, fire, military and public safety agencies.
The Hansen Dam Recreation Area is off the Osborne exit of the Foothill Freeway in Lake View Terrace.
