Residents can celebrate the red, white and blue at Fullerton’s Flag Day Carnival and Festival this weekend. The event, expected to attract 10,000 visitors, begins with a carnival today and continues Saturday and Sunday with food booths and entertainment. Carnival rides open at 4 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday. Festival events start at 2 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. The event will be held on the Fullerton College campus on Chapman Avenue and Berkeley Street. Festivities on Thursday were canceled due to classes still being in session.
