* Panavision Inc., Woodland Hills, a leading supplier of motion picture cameras, has named Scott L. Seybold as chief financial officer. Seybold, 42, has 18 years of management experience, most recently as a corporate director at Harman International, and arrives at Panavision on the heels of several loss-making quarters.

* Peter Kitzinski has been appointed to the board of directors of Turbodyne Technologies Inc., Woodland Hills. Kitzinski is vice president corporate finance Europe of Turbodyne Technologies and general manager of Turbodyne Europe GmbH. Khal Kader, chief financial officer, has been appointed to serve as secretary of the company.

Turbodyne designs, develops, manufactures and markets patented pollution-reduction, fuel-economy and performance-enhancing products for internal combustion engines and machined aluminum castings for the automotive industry.

* Robert O’Malley will succeed Michael Ohanian as head of UNOVA Inc.’s Automated Data Systems Group and as president of its Intermec Technologies subsidiary. Ohanian, who is retiring this month, will serve as a consultant to the Woodland Hills-based company.

Intermec, based in Everett, Wash., develops and manufactures mobile computer and network solutions, particularly for the growing automated data collection market.

* Herb Jellinek has been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Larry Gerber has been named to the new position of director of news and information for the academy.

The academy sponsors the annual Emmy Awards for television programming.

* Robert J. Stern, a certified public accountant, has been named a partner to Stern, Kory, Sreden & Morgan, an accountancy corporation with offices in San Fernando and Valencia.
