PLACENTIA

Residents can drop off used motor oil at the following recycling centers in the city: Ralph Penella Chevron, 313 W. Orangethorpe Ave.; Fairway Ford, 1350 E. Yorba Linda Blvd.; Placentia Super Service, 230 W. Santa Fe Ave.; and Econo Lube N’ Tune, 100 W. Chapman Ave. The oil must be dropped off in containers that hold up to 5 gallons. Used oil cannot be recycled if it has been mixed with other substances, so officials ask that only containers free of other household chemicals be used.
