The Times Orange County publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

ANAHEIM

* South Dale Street: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 200 block at 8:10 a.m. Sunday.

* North Euclid Street: A petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 1:14 p.m. Sunday.

BREA

* Imperial Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 700 block at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday.

* Gemini Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday.

BUENA PARK

* Lincoln Avenue: Report of a purse stolen from a department store customer in the 5800 block at 2:31 p.m. Sunday.

* Academy Drive: A soccer referee reported being punched in the left eye by a player in the 8800 block at 7:28 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Magnolia Street: Someone stole musical equipment from a music room at the First Christian Church in the 18100 block; reported at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Imperial Avenue: A man who claimed he fired shots at intruders was later arrested after police discovered that no one was inside the man’s home. Responding to a burglary in progress, police arrived at the residence in the 9600 block at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived, the homeowner said he had seen two people in his house, so he grabbed his .22-caliber rife and chased the intruders out. The man later changed his story and said he spotted two people looking over a fence into his backyard and thought one of them reached for a gun, so he fired shots at them, police said.

IRVINE

* Promenade: The driver’s door window of a light blue 1989 Toyota Camry was found open, and an organizer, “Star Wars” figures and earrings were stolen in the 100 block; reported at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday.

* Southern Road: A box of Dimetapp Extentabs was reported stolen from the front porch of a residence in the first block at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Glenneyre: A report of four black Tahitian pearls stolen from a residence in the 2000 block at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday.

* Alta Laguna Boulevard: A report of a vehicle on fire in the 3000 block at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Calle de la Plata: A license plate was stolen from a 1999 Ford Explorer in the 24000 block between 1 and 5:25 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Phillips Circle: The front door of a residence in the 100 block was pried open and the house was ransacked while the residents were away. Neighbors reported the incident at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.

LAKE FOREST

* Camino Via: A resident in the 24700 block reported at noon Monday that his briefcase was stolen from his unlocked truck in his driveway during the night.

LA PALMA

* Orangethorpe Avenue: Someone passed a counterfeit $20 bill to a business in the 5400 block at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Katella Avenue: A stolen white Honda Civic was recovered in a hospital parking lot in the 3700 block at 9:52 p.m. Monday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Spadra: A decorative sign was taken from the frontyard of a residence in the 24000 block sometime before 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* Davis Way: A burglary was reported in the 1100 block at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday.

* Valencia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1600 block at 9:02 a.m. Wednesday.

STANTON

* Bever Place: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 8000 block at 11:29 a.m. Monday.

* Western Avenue: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 11000 block at 5:38 a.m. Monday.

TUSTIN

* North Yorba Street: A resident in the 13600 block reported at 3:48 p.m. Sunday that someone has been nailing fliers on the trees in her yard.

* Boleyn Circle: A resident in the 15500 block found ammunition in a trash can and asked that it be picked up to be destroyed at 9:46 p.m. Sunday.

WESTMINSTER

* McFadden Avenue: Two men robbed the owner of a business in the 10000 block, taking his wallet and cash from the register, at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday. No weapon was shown. They fled in a Volkswagen Beetle.

YORBA LINDA

* Via Miguel: A grand theft was reported in the 4300 block at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday.

* Felicia Drive: A burglary was reported in the 5100 block at 7:05 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Villa Park.
