The City Council has approved a total of $19,500 for bigger stipends to city commissioners and committee members. Compensation for planning commissioners will be $110, up from $60 for each meeting attended, and members of the Parks and Recreation Commission, Design Review and Golf Course committees will receive $55, up from $30. The council also approved a stipend increase to $500 a month, up from $375, for the city clerk and city treasurer, who also attend public meetings. Information: (949) 361-8200.
