Man Hurt in June 14 Freeway Crash Dies
A Thousand Oaks man died Thursday of injuries he sustained in a car accident nearly two weeks ago.
Craig F. Tucker died about 1 p.m. at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks after his family took him off life-support equipment, said Jim Wingate, the county’s chief deputy coroner.
Tucker, 34, received massive head injuries June 14 when he lost control of his car on California 23 at the Ventura Freeway interchange and slammed into an abandoned car, authorities said.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
