The City Council recently approved a $248,000 bid to build additional bathrooms at the Dad Miller Golf Course Clubhouse on North Gilbert Street. Councilman Frank Feldhaus had a few reservations about the price tag, but public works officials assured him the costs were competitive and justified given the project’s scope.
USS Cal Builders Inc. of Garden Grove will build the restrooms and a storage area for banquet tables and chairs. Restrooms at the golf course currently are shared by golfers and banquet room clients. Patrons had complained about restroom shortages, officials said.
