* David L. Cunningham, a senior partner with the law firm of Ferguson, Case, Orr, Paterson & Cunningham in Ventura, has been elected president of the board of trustees for the Ventura and Santa Barbara Colleges of Law. He has been a trustee since 1991 and served as vice president and secretary.

Cunningham was an instructor at the school for eight years.

* Charles Gettle has joined the sales team at Allcable Inc. in Oxnard. This brings the company’s sales team to 10, up from three people five years ago.

Gettle, a Simi Valley resident, worked the last 10 years at Marshall Industries in El Monte.

* Shawn Mohr of Thousand Oaks has been honored by Romac International for his role in launching Romac Scientific.

Mohr was one of four Romac team members to receive the Pathfinder Award, which recognizes individuals for their work fostering Romac International’s growth and expansion.

Romac Scientific, with 17 offices nationwide, is the country’s sixth-largest scientific placement service.
